Samantha Hutton- Metheney, LMFT, Ph.D

Samantha is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Hypnotherapist, and EMDR trained therapist who graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BA in Psychology in 1991, received her certification as a clinical hypnotherapist at the Hypnotherapy Training Institute in Corte Midera California in 1992, and her Masters degree in psychology from the Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara California in 2006. She is a Tennessee Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2010. She obtained her doctoral degree at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in 2016. Her career in the healing arts spans 35 years during which time she has worked extensively with alcohol and drug addiction at a top rated residential rehab facility. Her approach to wellness is integrative and combines traditional psychotherapy along with alternative modalities.
